Jeffrey Smith

Jeffery Smith has served as the Global Director of Indirect Materials and Services for the Sourcing and Logistics function in DuPont since July 2012.  In this role, Jeff oversees a global staff of 150 employees responsible for approximately $6 billion in spend for good and services that include human resources, information technology, professional services, MRO, fleet, travel and site services. His selection followed more than 36 years of experience with DuPont, including more than 17 years in Sourcing & Logistics and 15 in Sales and Marketing, as well as positions in Information Technology and Applied Technology. 

His tenure with DuPont has allowed Jeff to work with multiple industries, including electronics, chemicals, industrial products and agriculture and to travel the world. He is well known for his ability to develop winning global teams with outstanding execution that consistently delivery beyond objectives.  He attributes this success to being genuine, transparent, and collaborative, and most importantly, demonstrating servant leadership. 

Jeff holds a degree in Management and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and stressed the importance of being a lifelong learner. He also holds a Certification in Supply Chain Professional – APICS and is very involved in Employee Organizational Development at DowDuPont.
