Yorkie has kept the same work philosophy throughout her career to repeatedly reduce costs in an array of indirect spend categories within the Retail, Consumer Products and Technology industries. Yorkie is currently at Uber Technologies managing procurement of Facility Services: developing processes and strategies to optimize the $100MM operational budget. Before joining Uber, Yorkie held a similar role at Apple. Prior to Apple, Yorkie led the Strategic Sourcing function for Gap Japan, with responsibility for implementing sourcing plans across the Store Construction, Print Production, Packaging, Energy, and Travel categories.
