Nicholas’s ProcureCon Story at a Glance

  • First year at ProcureCon: 2012
  • How he has participated: Attendee
  • ProcureCon highlight: Being able to meet with people who do what he does and share ideas with them in a welcoming setting.
  • Why he comes to ProcureCon: The conference provides a space where he can interact with people who have the same issues and are struggling with the same problems.
“The camaraderie that you build with people who are in the same position as you are, it’s reassuring to see”

ProcureCon is network building, skill set building, experience building, and relationship building

Attending ProcureCon has been really positive for me personally and for our team. ProcureCon give us the ability to meet with other people who have similar problems, similar interests, and similar objectives. You can bounce ideas off of them, develop your own personal understanding and reshape the way that you think in certain areas, so it’s always very refreshing to come to one of these events.

A Unique Type of Conference

There has to be a foundation of procurement principles and this is what ProcureCon is really good at, especially on the digital marketing side. The combination of both of those programs together really round out both the procurement side of what you have to do in the marketing space and also the pure marketing part of it.

I think ProcureCon has been fantastic in terms of providing a smaller venue. Other conferences have thousands of people there and it becomes chaotic. ProcureCon conferences are a good size and you get a good representation of skill sets and experience without it being massive.
