Aaron Michaels currently leads the Indirect and Corporate Services procurement teams at Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), overseeing over $4 billion in annual spend. He is responsible for driving the team through a procurement transformation to embed category and supplier management best practices and help enable growth across the company. He holds over 20 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. He has led similar transformation efforts across various industries, including high-tech, financial services, ecommerce and healthcare. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University. When not working, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife, Kate and children Ryan and Olivia.
