Anton Van Steenwijk

Anton joined Dell Inc in June 1999.  Since 2014 he leads the procurement organization responsible for global real estate and facilities (GREF), electronics disposition and security services sourcing.  He also leads the team development program across the Dell General Procurement organization.

From 2010 to 2014 Anton led the Global Fulfillment & Logistics procurement organization and managed sourcing relationships with key partners such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, Kuehne & Nagel, and others.

Between 2003 and 2010 Anton held various logistics procurement roles in the Dell supply chain organization.  Prior roles at Dell include Program Management and Manufacturing Engineering Management. 

Previous work experiences include manufacturing engineering management positions at NCR, and Solectron, as well as independent consultant. 

He received a Master of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands and an MBA from Webster University.  During his procurement tenure in the Dell logistics organization Anton was a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), and has been a speaker at Eye for Transport and the Georgia Logistics Summit. 

Anton is an active volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and Hands Of Christ. 

He grew up in the Netherlands and immigrated to the U.S. in 1994 to start his married life with his wife Amy.   They have a 14-yr old son, and enjoy camping to experience the natural beauty in the 50 states.
