Brent leads the Procurement Center of Excellence at Ingram Micro, a $45B global distributor of IT equipment. Brent brings over 25 years of experience building, transforming and leading Procurement and Sourcing in both domestic and global environments across multiple industries, and has been exploring LLMs and Agentic AI since ChatGPT's transformational launch. Prior to Ingram Micro, Brent was the VP and Head of Procurement at Clarivate, a data analytics company in the IP space. He has had numerous roles leading and transforming direct spend, indirect spend and the CoE at range of companies from small start ups to large global multi nationals. Brent had various leadership roles implementing systems, enhancing risk management, and developing the team while driving cost reductions and product innovation in food manufacturing, the energy industry, and retail. Brent’s capabilities include best practices related to strategic sourcing, commodity management, partnering with suppliers for innovation, strategies for maximizing the use of your RFX and e-procurement processes, managing tax and currency impacts on enterprise level procurement activities, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, and FAR/DFAR implementation strategies. He has been involved in multiple Procurement transformations, and has expertise in organizational diagnosis and design.
