Cheryl Perlmutter

Cheryl is a senior leader with responsibility for Sourcing at Edward Jones.  Her team partners with business teams across the Firm to lead the negotiation of contracts for a wide variety of products and services.  Prior to joining Jones in 2017, Cheryl worked in the Aerospace industry for 19 years.  She began her career as an engineering co-op at Boeing supporting the Space Shuttle program.  She eventually moved into Supplier Program Management where she worked with suppliers around the world who supported Boeing's defense business.  Cheryl led procurement teams with responsibility for contracting and managing supplier performance.  After several years in management at Boeing, Cheryl accepted a role as a Program Manager at LMI Aerospace where she led several aircraft structure development and production programs.   

 Cheryl has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration both from Washington University in St. Louis.

Cheryl lives in St. Louis, MO with her husband, Mike and her two sons.  She enjoys mentoring engineering and business students and serves on several volunteer advisory committees for Washington University.  She also actively supports College Bound, a nonprofit that works to empower students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve college educations and successful careers.  Cheryl is an avid tennis player and enjoys traveling.
