Damian O’Hare is currently an Enterprise Procurement Specialist at Vendr. Damian came to Vendr having previously worked in the Financial Services industry as part of a team of Strategic Sourcing professionals, bringing a wealth of knowledge and best practice from end-to-end Procurement seeing first hand how technology can positively impact Procurement and mitigate economic risk. Prior to finding his niche in Procurement, Damian wore various hats throughout both the Logistics and IT reseller space, gaining a unique perspective coming from the sell side to Procurement and Vendr. Today in his role at Vendr, Damian helps Enterprise clients with their end-to-end Procurement process and ensures execution effectively and efficiently for each deal through Vendr’s best in class SaaS platform, while minimizing organizational risk, and coaching clients through procurement best practices. In 2023, he sees first hand daily how Procurement can be strategic partners within their respective organizations to tackle today’s economic challenges head on, through contract negotiations, SaaS audits, and using data to make acute business decisions. In his downtime, you can find Damian playing dad at home to two young boys, refereeing soccer or catching up with family from his native Scotland through technology!
