Ian Harward was hired by HealthEquity in 2017 to spin up their first a Procurement department. While implementing, growing, and scaling the Procurement department, HealthEquity made a series of acquisitions between 2019-2021. Ian has served as the Head of Procurement since November of 2019. Prior to joining HealthEquity, Ian was Buyer for Vivint.SmartHome a smart home and home security provider. In that role he oversaw the purchasing of a wide array inventory and commodities. Before joining Vivint.SmartHome he played Division 1 and Division 2 basketball for Brigham Young University and Brigham Young University – Hawaii respectively. Ian is passionate about outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and golfing. They constantly seek to improve through reading and other education opportunities. Ian holds a Bachelor of Business Management with an emphasis in Global Supply Chain Management from the University of Brigham Young University – Hawaii.
