Lenora Sevillian

Director of Procurement Nova Southeastern University

Lenora Sevillian is the Director of Procurement at NSU Florida and the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner for the EPIC Awards Excellence in Purchasing Indirect Categories. She also serves as an At Large Director on the NAEP Board of Directors and Co-Chair of the Education Steering Committee. With over 36 years of experience in both public and private sector procurement and product development, Lenora holds several industry certifications and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from American College in London, England.

Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Law and Policy at Northeastern University, Lenora is expected to graduate in 2026. Her research focuses on deconstructing corruption and fraud in public sector procurement, specifically examining the psychological theories driving unethical actions and the determinants of corruption in South Florida.

As a visionary procurement executive, Lenora has extensive experience building and leading procurement organizations, emphasizing team building and collaboration with stakeholders. She has a proven track record of achieving goals, exceeding targets, and transforming procurement functions from tactical, transactional roles to strategic and transformative contributors.

Lenora is passionate about talent development, including teaching, succession planning, cross-functional development, and training. She actively builds business partnerships and volunteers on professional committees, community non-profits, and think tanks. Driven by a lifelong passion for learning and mentoring, Lenora believes in continuous professional development. She is known for her high professional standards rooted in respect, inclusion, integrity, and fiduciary responsibility.
